Cowboy Burger Recipe


Additional requirements

  • Baking sheet, cast iron skillet, grill, or barbecue. – Fryer
  • Saucepan
  • Breaded onion rings

Step by step

Step 1: Preparation

Season the minced meat to taste with the “All Purpose BBQ Rub”. Divide into 4 burgers.
Cut the red onion into quarter rings, wash the lettuce. Cut the buns in half and toast them with some oil or butter.

Step 2: Grilling

Fry the bacon slices until golden brown and crispy. Bake, grill, or barbecue the burgers. Meanwhile, fry the onion rings.

Heat the Memphis Sweet & Smokey BBQ Sauce in a saucepan. Do not let it boil.

Top the buns with: Lettuce, Bacon, Burger, generous amount of Memphis Sweet & Smokey BBQ Sauce, pickle slices, and fried onion rings. Serve with extra sauce.

Step 3: Serve

Exaggerate a bit like they do in Texas. On top of the onion rings, add thin slices of ham, corned beef, or pastrami.”
