Classic Coleslaw


  • 1 kg sliced white (and/or other) cabbage
  • 200 grams carrot, julienne sliced
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 3 Celery stalks, finely sliced
  • 1 Leek in thin rings
  • Your favorite vinegar
  • Alabama Style White Sauce
  • Pepper
  • Salt

  • Make the coleslaw a day in advance. It’s tastiest then.

Step by step

Step 1: Preparation

Mix the cabbage, carrot, onion, celery and leek with some pepper, salt and a small splash of vinegar. Finish with your favorite dressing. We use Alabama Style White Sauce.

Step 2: Serve

Great on a sandwich with pulled pork, brisket or bbq sausage. As a base for salads, or as a side dish. Enjoy!
